THE REPAIR PROCESS
The insurance company will review the estimate and make changes with regards to price and procedures of your repairs.Once the insurance approves the estimate, the actual repair process begins.If you are not insured, sign off the estimate and we will proceed with repairs, once the deposit is paid.
In disassembly, hidden damage is often found. Inner structure repairs are determined and an additional part may have to be added to ensure your vehicle is repaired to the highest standard.Additional parts need to be authorised by the insurance.
The parts of your vehicle are ordered and availability is checked.
You will be notified if parts are on back order via sms.
In the structure repair area, the uni-body is returned back to the factory specification.
The body repair department replaces exterior panels and all metal finishing that may be required.
Paint preparation is a critical step in the refinishing process of every vehicle.
In this stage the vehicle is sanded and primed, before colour coating is done.
Colour matching is done with aid of our computer database, to ensure precision.
Tightly controlled conditions in our spray booth, keeps contaminates out of the paint, the vehicle is baked to give the paint a durable and long lasting finish.
Final mouldings and detail pieces are placed back onto the vehicle in the assembly area.
The repairs on your vehicle will undergo a three step quality inspection, where all non-conformities are rectified, before delivery.
